Adding the Pentalite 4P Wedge to your Pentalite four-person shelter keeps your sleeping space off the ground and free from insects and spiders. The mesh wall and nylon floor work together to optimize your shelter, essentially turning it into an ultralight tent with a large vestibule. Since it is a separate piece, you can leave it behind when your focus is shaving ounces, or you can divide and conquer by assigning one person carry the shelter, one person to carry the Wedge, and another person to carry the pole. No one ends up carrying much and you end up with enough room to sleep four adults.
